STEM-EC
Created in June 2006 by the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, CH2M HILL, and Avaya, the Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Education Coalition (STEM-EC), is a dynamic group of committed business leaders, educators, and community advocates working together to better connect industry and the K-16 academic community. STEM-EC's mission is to increase the number of STEM graduates and to prepare them for the challenges of a technology-driven economy via a variety of pathways, including career and technical education, community colleges and universities. STEM-EC is co-chaired by CH2M HILL Senior Vice President Bud Ahearn.
