Puerto Rico employees contribute to STEM education

The CH Caribe San Juan, Puerto Rico, office joined with their community partner—the Juan B. Miranda middle school in Guaynabo—and its Sciences and Mathematics Club—to celebrate Earth Day 2008. Engineers Teresa Ruiz, Javier Rivera, and Victor Vega served as judges in the competition and were impressed by the quality of the projects presented. CH Caribe donated the trophies to be given in each of the 10 categories and participated in the award ceremony. An exhibition of the winning projects is displayed in the office.
