Winning Cities Announced for CH2M HILL-Supported National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation
CH2M HILL WaterMatch is proud to partner with Wyland Foundation on the National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation. Separated into five population categories, the winning cities are Denver, Colo.; Tucson, Ariz.; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Bremerton, Wash. and Laguna Beach, Calif. Residents in all 50 states made more than 44,000 online pledges to save water, use less energy and reduce pollution – with potential cost savings of more than $30.6 million.

CH2M HILL Wins LCRA Lower Basin Reservoir Project
CH2M HILL was recently selected by the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) for Phase 1 Engineering services for the Lower Basin Reservoir Project near Lane City, Texas. CH2M HILL has performed water resources planning and study work for LCRA for many years, including the recent Water Supply Resource Plan that identified potential strategies to meet water demands through 2100.

Earth Day Celebrates U.S. Water Prize Winners
In an Earth Day ceremony at National Geographic Headquarters, in Washington D.C., the U.S. Water Alliance presented its U.S. Water Prize to three winners: MillerCoors, The Freshwater Trust, and Onondaga County (NY). CH2M HILL is a proud sponsor of the U.S. Water Prize, and is privileged to partner with Onondaga County on their "Save the Rain" program that embraces green infrastructure solutions to wet weather problems.
