Matt McGowan Joins CH2M HILL to Lead M&A Division

CH2M HILL, a global full-service consulting, design, construction, and operations firm, announces that Matthew McGowan has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.

With more than 25 years of experience, McGowan has managed and overseen global mergers and acquisitions for the majority of his career. He has extensive experience in conducting mergers and acquisitions for the engineering and construction industry as well as global, cross-industry deals throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
In his role, McGowan will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of merger and acquisition activities for the global firm, including identification of new opportunities, due diligence, negotiation, and post-merger integration. Additionally, McGowan will spearhead the firm’s public private partnership (P3) initiatives.
Previously, McGowan was managing director at Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co., LLC where he led the merger and acquisition unit. Prior to that, he was the managing director of the Engineering, Construction & Infrastructure Services team for Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc.
McGowan will be based in New York City. He holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University.
