Margaret B. McLean is a Senior Vice President, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary for CH2M HILL Companies, Ltd. Ms. McLean oversees a team of 52 legal and risk management professionals who provide legal, insurance, and compliance support for the enterprise in 75+ countries.

 

Ms. McLean joined CH2M HILL in 1998 with a broad range of responsibilities that included legal support of International operations, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and compliance functions.  She became CH2M HILL’s Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel in 2007.  Between 1992 and 1998, she acted as CH2M HILL’s outside counsel supporting its commercial and government projects in Europe and Asia.

 

Prior to joining CH2M HILL, Ms. McLean was an international mergers and acquisitions partner at a major law firm working in its Denver, London and Moscow offices; and worked for Science Applications International (SAIC) and Hewlett Packard.

 

A native of Ukraine, Ms. McLean has lived in the United States for the last 30 years, with a short detour in Europe in the 1990s. Ms. McLean holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona, an MBA from the University of Colorado, and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
