Critigen, a leading spatial enterprise solutions and cloud managed services provider, and CH2M HILL, a global full-service consulting, design, construction, and operations firm, announced the completion of a 3-year $6.5 million contract to provide technical assistance and program management services to the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Solar Energy Technology Program (SETP). Critigen and CH2M HILL teamed to deliver more than 40 task orders.

US giant CH2M Hill has today completed its acquisition of UK consultant Halcrow for approximately £124M. It is understood that both management teams will now spend six months deciding how best to integrate Halcrow into the CH2M Hill Group. The most immediate change will see CH2M Hill president of facilities and infrastructure Jacque Rast taking over as chief executive of Halcrow from Peter Gammie.

London-based architects Jestico + Whiles have been awarded the contract to design the new Australian Institute of Nanoscience at the University of Sydney in association with Architectus Sydney. US firm CH2M Hill will design the cleanroom and laboratory.

They chose CH2M Hill Engineers as the program management consultant after a round of interviews and presentation. The company has 24,000 employees. It has experience in large projects like this.
