Sustainability was the focus of the EWeek presentation given by CH2M HILL volunteers from Kalamazoo, Michigan, at a middle school in Goshen, Indiana. Through a variety of activities, students learned about sustainability and the role that engineers play in society. In celebration of Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, CH2M HILL employees in Savannah, Georgia, teamed with the City's Water and Sewer Bureau and Environmental Affairs Department to lead 100 elementary and middle school girls on a tour of the recently completed Crossroads Wastewater Treatment Plant. The tour highlighted the role of female engineers on this local project.
