CH2M HILL (www.ch2mhill.com), a global full-service consulting, design, construction, operations and maintenance, and logistics firm, was awarded a contract by NASA for logistics support services at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama.

 

The firm-fixed price contract begins Feb. 1, 2012, with an eight-month base period, followed by four one-year options, and one four-month option. The performance period, including all options, has a total mission services contract value of $34 million with a maximum potential indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity value of $50 million.

 

“This win presents a great opportunity to expand CH2M HILL’s existing mission support at NASA Marshall where we have provided environmental engineering and occupational health services since the late 1980s,” said Chris Miller, President of CH2M HILL’s Government Facilities and Infrastructure business group.

 

The team includes four major team subcontractors: American Services Technology, Inc.; Creative Management Technology, Inc.; Northwind Engineering, LLC; and A-Z Office Resource, Inc.

 

Under this contract CH2M HILL will provide mail, shipping and receiving services; equipment, maintenance and repair services; flight hardware, transportation and motor pool services; move and disposal services; warehousing; and retail and food services.  The contract also allows procurement of additional response to specific tasks within the performance work statement.
